Flexible wings, radical change in air logistics.

The research is not limited to the production of flexible wings, as scientists and engineers from different companies working for the Pentagon are also trying to change the shape of the surface of the wings, as is the case with the muscles, which are tightened and stretched as their thickness increases and decreases.

Skunk Works, a division of Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, California, also aims to make planes with small wings to replace the traditional ones so that, attached to the fuselage, they can fold and move closer together, just like birds do.

NextGen Aeronautics, for its part, is working on a metamorphic wing that aims to replace the conventional wing of fighter planes with a much narrower wing that is much more favourable to speed, while Raytheon Missile Systems, from Tucson, is profiling a telescopic wing adapted to the needs of a cruise missile.

The aim of all this research is to create before next year a set of functional wing models capable of halving their length and thickness, so that aerodynamic technology is close to what were the first steps of aviation, the flexible wings of the Wright brothers, which for safety reasons were replaced in the early twentieth century by rigid structures combined with ailerons.

The increasing capacity of computers and the elasticity and weight of new materials allow us to think again a hundred years later of aircraft that mimic the flight of birds, although there are still a few decades to go before this technology, if it really confirms its validity, crosses the border of military vehicles and extends to civil aviatio

How to travel like a plane on earth?

American entrepreneur Elon Musk, Space X and Tesla founder, had the idea for the Hyperloop in 2013. His aim was to develop a faster, more reliable, durable and safer means of transport that should be able to transport people and goods at a speed of 1,200 km/h along a pipe under low air pressure. That would make transportation more energy-efficient and more effective when compared to planes or trains, for instance.

Hyperloop_all_cutaway

Thirty members of the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands have developed a capsule to transport people and goods at high-speed through pipelines – the ‘Delft Hyperloop’. The Delft Hyperloop pod is safe, fast, reliable and efficient. It can reach speeds of over 1,200 km/h and can carry both passengers and freight. With a mass of only 149 kg, the pod is highly responsive.

It is considered the means of transport. Hyperloop will cover thousands of kilometers in a few minutes, thus changing the mode of transportation by land. as the systems used are batatos and could even be emission-free as renewable energies are developed.

The first tests have been a success with this we see a glimmer of hope for terrestrial transport that will change all the patterns so far created, hopefully we all get to see this breakthrough.

Drone as a service

Since Jeff Bezos announced in 2013 that he was developing robotic delivery systems to take orders through the air, Amazon has filed dozens of patents related to its future Prime Air service. Beehives to accommodate unmanned aerial vehicles, nests in the streetlamps or parachutes for the packages are some of his original ideas for the drones to reach our homes.

You open the’app’ and ask for the food you’re lazy about going shopping for. Instantly, the robotic delivery boy leaves the gigantic building where he lives with his fellow robots and, in a few minutes, you can see him flying over your garden. After dodging a bird that crosses its path, the unmanned aerial vehicle launches a package that landed gently on the ground thanks to a parachute. Your shopping just literally fell from the sky.

We also found a large number of patent registrations from amazon here we have a series of images of the patents:

PS4 vs PC Gaming?

Sony made it very clear when it introduced the PlayStation 4 Pro, this more powerful version of the console is not intended to compete with Xbox One or Nintendo Wii U, its goal is to prevent players from switching to the PC. That’s a bold statement, but now we have to ask ourselves whether a PlayStation 4 Pro or a PC gamer is better, a really complicated comparison.

The truth is that the war between consoles and PCs has been going on for a few years now at its peak, right now they are two very valid platforms in both cases but really different. One console is only good for playing, and PlayStation 4 came out quite fair in power. A PC is very versatile, but it needs much more expensive components to enjoy interactive entertainment in good condition.

So let’s weigh up the differences between a PlayStation 4 Pro and a PC gamer, which are numerous. We don’t think the comparison is very fair, but Sony itself has come up with this idea, so it makes sense for consumers to doubt which of the devices is best suited for their leisure time.

When we introduced the new PlayStation 4 Pro we already said that it will cost 399 Euros, so it’s a very low price. Only 100 euros more than the normal model. Considering that the new machine is twice as powerful in terms of graphics, it is worth choosing this updated version.ps4-vs-pc.jpg

Mounting a gamer PC for 399 Euros is quite complicated, and impossible if you want the same power of PlayStation 4 Pro, such a compact design and a controller of the same quality. So, if you have a budget of around €400, it’s more than clear that choosing Sony’s console is a much better option.

But if we can spend more, of course it’s possible to build a better gamer PC than the much better PlayStation 4 Pro, whose components we can upgrade in the future.

We must also take into account the screen we are going to use. Do you have a good monitor? It’s one less expense to add to your PC gamer. Do you own a modern 4K television? Then you’ll get more out of your PlayStation 4 Pro. This is an important detail, as the TV or monitor is a considerable extra cost.

Stock exchange

Have you considered investing in the stock market, but don’t even know where to start? Are you interested in the stock market, but do you think it’s complicated and inaccessible?

First of all, it should be noted that the income of the Stock Exchange is generated mainly in two ways: by buying shares in a company and selling them when their price rises (which we call capital gains), or through dividends, which are the profits that companies distribute among their shareholders.

Secondly, although in the long term the stock market may be a very profitable investment, it must be well known and operated with criteria; we must not forget that it is an investment in equities, either upwards or downwards. It is not possible to know in advance the profitability of a share, so it is advisable to invest only the amount that we will not need in the short term, and that you set your limits. It may happen that, when you sell, you get a lower price for your shares than you paid for them.

Finally, it should be borne in mind that the profits obtained on the stock exchange are taxable. If you keep your investment for more than one year, the profit will not be subject to withholding and will be recorded at 21%. If, on the other hand, these profits have been generated in less than a year, they will be added to the income from work and will be taxed at the corresponding rate. In addition, after the first 1,500 euros, dividends will also be taxed at 21%. This taxation is for the Common Territory, since the Haciendas Forales have another percentage of taxation.

The 10 steps to organize a great event.

In recent times the major sporting events, whether it be Champions League final, Marathons, Olympics, etc. are based on the following points:

  1.  Ideate it, see what you want to do and where you want to go.
  2. Budget it, calculate how much it will cost us to create the event.
  3. Communicate it, this refers to communication to government entities.
  4. Marketing campaign to make it known, diffusion of the event to guarantee the maximum assistance stipulated.
  5. Attracting clients, it consists of attracting both village and private financing to carry out the event.
  6. Management of involved parties, to make a guide of the companies that will be able to work in the realization of the event.
  7. Design and programming of the event, create the event schedule. Both the assembly planning and the duration of the event itself.
  8. Set up of the event, work in the venue where the event will take place.
  9. Planning of the event and possible problems/incidences, here we are on security issues, etc.
  10. Dissemination of success, show how successful the event has been and try to spread the word that it will be repeated.

In this video he shows us the organization of protocol events.

These points can also be extrapolated to any event such as a party with friends to the World Cup football final.

IS XIAOMI A TRANSITORY SUCCESS?

Xiaomi Inc. is a Chinese company dedicated to the design, development and sale of smartphones, apps and other electronic products, that sells in its Mi stores in China, India, Russia and Spain, and certain countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America, as well as on its website. Since the launch of its first smartphone in August 2011, Xiaomi has gained significant market share in China and expanded its product line to other electronic devices.

In 2013, the company succeeded in making the Xiaomi Mi2S, China’s most popular mobile phone, ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and Apple’s iPhone 5, according to data from specialist consultancy Antutu? with a competitive and cheaper product than its competitors. In October of that same year, Xiaomi released its Mi3 model for sale, and its first 100,000 units took 86 seconds to sell over the Internet, according to the company’s findings.

Its competitors believe that Xiaomi’s pace of expansion so far is too fast, and it’s impossible to do business with those prices and it will be devoured by its own success. It was always difficult for European countries to acquire the firm’s devices because they were not officially distributed in most European countries. Will this statement be true?

Xiaomi has experienced rapid growth in terms of total sales throughout 2017, with 92.4 million units shipped, behind OPPO (111.8 million terminals) and Huawei (153.1 million units), Xiaomi ranked as the fifth largest manufacturer worldwide according to IDC data.

1

This dynamic growth can be seen in the Spanish smartphone sales market. As we already know, a few weeks ago they opened their third store in Barcelona, and in the next few weeks they will open their fourth store in Madrid. And this would be due to the fact that 63% of Xiaomi’s product sales are produced in Spain.

In my opinion, the Xiaomi brand has already established itself in the world market, and I only see one way to dethrone the giants Samsung and Apple. And all thanks to its more than competent prices and the quality it offers within these reduced prices.

How to give logistic and environment a turn of the screw with Logicopalet

Logicpalet, is a removable and mountable pallet made of plastic scrap. with which thanks to this invention we will achieve a reduction of organic and plastic waste, and help the environment by avoiding the felling of trees.

The Patent is based on a structure based on the combination of only two basic pieces, capable of being assembled and disassembled indefinitely, resulting in a Pallet.

These two basic pieces, multiplied in number and arranged in a given position (longitudinally and transversely), are assembled in a solid structure without requiring any other connecting elements.

The Logicpalet has a wide range of dimensions depending on the customer’s needs. We can take any measure. The damaged parts of the Logicpalet are easily replaceable. Since they are two parts.

Low logistics costs over long distances. Great savings in logistics return ratio of 1 to 4. With this we could use the space left over from transport to transport other goods. With this new idea we could achieve a greater benefit from the same journey.

Thanks to the reuse system of the recycled plastic pallet, we avoid the felling of millions of trees. Reduction of the totality of greenhouse gases emitted by direct or indirect effect of an individual, organization, event or product. It contributes to preventing Biological Contamination (Living undesirable organisms in an environment, which can generate different diseases).
